My first phone was a dumb samsung phone (GT-E1050) from 2011, which did not allow for any programming. Before attending the Chaos Communication Congress in 2023 I could not remember my PIN for this phone, but I needed one for the local gsm network. I asked my parents and my dad gave me his old Nokia 6288. Of course I started researching the phone and this is how I found out about J2ME (Java 2 Mobile Edition).
